When out of Words, Put up Pictures

Since I seem to have lost the ability to string together words into sentences that are even remotely interesting…
…I thought I’d put up some pictures from the last week or so.

Probably the most interesting fishing pole I’ve ever found out on the river.
Just a river crappie.
I do not recommend that anyone fish under a bridge that is in this kind of condition.
I never take my own advice.
No algae.
Further down stream, no algae.
Still further down stream, algae all over the place as far as you can see.

Earlier in the summer I sent a note to a fisheries biologist for the IDNR asking him about the filamentous algae problem. I got a note back informing me that there was no single source for this problem. So I sent him pictures that documented the source. He never responded. Get back to me when you get a chance, will ya?

Scuse me, but I’m trying to go fishing that way.
A gray yet colorful day. On the other side of those trees, up the hill, barely a two minute walk, is where I live.
A little further down stream from where I live.
I don’t like the fish, but I do like the color.
Sunrise pond fishing.
Pond sunrise. This pond is down a good four feet.
There’s usually a small creek flowing through here.
I like the little roads around me.
New neighbors should not take it upon themselves to kill off the neighborhood pet squirrels. Those of us that have lived here for years don’t appreciate it.
Now we have to think of ways to screw with the new neighbor. I also think we are going to enjoy this just a little too much.

  1. brilliant.

call the idnr call. don’t write.

  2. Bob, this time I do believe it’s a waste of my time.
There’s another route. I have to find the interest in taking it. Hard to gather that interest lately.

  3. Ken, your writing, while maybe not Pulitzer prize material, has always been fun reading. (I’m certainly not one to judge…I say the same thing about my stuff.) You’re being pretty tough on yourself my friend. The photos and comments were great but no one puts baby (your writings) in the corner. Endeavor to persevere.

    1. Howard, the jumble in my head is overwhelming at times. I have no clue what’s going on, but I can’t get it straightened out. I seem to have lost my ability to focus, on this stuff anyway.

Persevere I am doing and hopefully something will click. I just have to uhhhh, coffee…. what was I saying?

  4. Thanks for the comments.

You’re link seems to be dead. Needs a translation maybe?

Did Google Borneo Anglers. Which one is you?
