Ugly little thing, but beautiful at the same time.
From a distance you can’t see the webbing in the wings. It looks like it’s holding up small black flags.
I can’t decide if it’s head looks like a skull or some kind of bizarre alien.
Ancient alien living in my yard, yeah, that’s it.

10 Jun 2011We had a pretty good cold front come through. I guess it didn’t like it. It sat in the same spot for about 18 hours. Was nice to get up close and have it just sit there. Creepy looking little things.
